It has been reported that 85% to 92% of the patients experience 50% or more reduction in headache frequency and severity.

In 50% to 60% of patients, the headaches are eliminated. Individual results may vary depending on each case. Long-term results of the surgery, studied over a period of 5 years, have been validated in the Journal of Reconstructive Surgery which have similar outcomes. Additional studies are being performed for further long term outcomes in Dallas, Cleveland, and other locations in the United States.
